PEP!

13 Llama Studio is proud to be associated with Pep Talks, an initiative by Stories in Motion, with whom we have churned out some of our best work so far. And with Pep, we’ve outdone ourselves in quite a few aspects.

PEP is a series of events, the first of which, called Pep Talks, is happening on the 14th of May, at St. Regis, Lower Parel, Mumbai.

If you are a wedding photographer, who wants to take their one person outfit to the next stage in business, you must attend this. But then again, if you are a wedding photographer, chances are you have already enrolled for the talks. And if you are still not sure why you should come, here are four words for you: Masterclass by Joseph Radhik.

Code Snippet: How to Use Your Plugin’s Template File in WordPress

When you are developing a plugin, some times you need to override the theme’s standard template, though it’s not recommended if you’re writing the plugin to sell or list in a market like the WordPress Plugin directory, because then your plugin won’t play nice with the theme that the end users might install.

With that caveat out of our way, here’s a snippet that lets you override the standard template and use the one included in your plugin instead:

add_filter('name_template', 'replace_template');
function replace_template($template_file) {
	$template_file = plugin_dir_path( __FILE__ ) . "templatefilename.php";
	return $template_file;
}

The name placeholder would be replaced by the template you want to override here, eg. 404, archive, author, category etc. The full list of such templates can be seen here.
